Q1: What pretreatment is needed for a 10 t/h RO system?

A 10 t/h RO system generally requires multi-media filtration, activated carbon, and softening or antiscalant dosing, depending on feedwater hardness and SDI. A water analysis determines the exact pretreatment train.

Q2: What is the power consumption of a 5 t/h RO system?

A 5 t/h single-pass RO system typically draws approximately 8.5 kW at rated conditions. Double-pass configurations or high-TDS feedwater increase installed power. Variable-frequency drive (VFD) options can reduce energy use at partial load.

Q3: FRP or stainless steel — which frame should I choose?

FRP is cost-effective for standard municipal or low-salinity feedwater. Stainless steel (304 or 316L) is preferred for high-chloride, high-temperature, or pharma/food applications where cleanability and corrosion resistance are required.

Q4: Can you supply a containerized RO system?

Yes. Containerized configurations are available for remote sites or fast deployment. The container includes pretreatment, RO skid, control panel, and dosing system, pre-piped and pre-wired before shipment.

Q5: What water analysis do you need to size a system?

Provide TDS, hardness, silica, SDI, turbidity, temperature, and target flow rate. If feedwater varies seasonally, include the worst-case analysis. We return a selection proposal with pretreatment recommendation and utility requirements.
